JAMES GUERRERO ARCHITECTS, INC
With every project, either a custom building or a simple remodel, we believe that our aim should be designing a structure that will serve our clients for years to come. But to create a streamlined and modern frame to withstand the next few decades of advancing interior design isn't enough - we also aim to build a structure that can sustain our community and support our clients. Through our LEED Certification, we can ensure that our builidings are environmentally consicious, saving our clients money in the long-term on heating and air conditioning, eventual repairs, and inevitable rebuilding and more intensive re-remodeling as codes become more stringent and customers become more environmentally aware and selective themselves.
No house should ever be on a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each the happier for the other."
-Frank Lloyd Wright
We are LEED Certified in the category of Building Design and Construction, one of the six total LEED designations, and one which applies to all new and existing construction projects.
LEED for Building Design and Construction (LEED BD+C) provides a framework for building a holistic green building, giving you the chance to create a healthy, resource-efficient, cost-effective building; one that enhances the lives and experiences of everyone who walks through its doors."
We also take advantage of the Pacific Northwest's unique environmental regulations in nearly all our projects, using replenishable wood and stone to advance not only the environmental responsibility of the design, but also its aesthetic. We believe that our clients shouldn't have to choose between their structure's curb appeal and its sustainability, or its initial cost and its long-term effectiveness. More than anything, however, we hope to create a design that leaves our clients satisfied, and our buildings leading our community for years to come.
