After five years of work in a larger Tacoma firm and ten years of adolescence in Lakewood, our Principal Architect James Guerrero founded JGA in order to better explore opportunities for structural creativity and form closer ties to his projects. Neitha Wilkey, our second Principal Architect, joined the firm in 1997 and became a partner in 2007. Both architects are proud graduates of the Washington State University College of Architecture.
Alongside draftsmen, architects, and office administration, James Guerrero Architects also works closely with a tight group of local consultants including structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers, landscapers, and various independent contractors. We are deeply invested in both the longevity and the viability our community, and we know that every the project we undertake directly contributes to our neighborhood, city, county, and region.
