James Guerrero - AIA, LEED AP, LFA

With 35 years of experience in south sound architecture, James Guerrero has both the expertise and the local commitment to craft designs that suit our clients' needs while melding into the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. After five years of work in a larger Tacoma firm, James Guerrero founded JGA to be able to form closer ties to his clients, coworkers, and fully explore the structural creativity and personal attention to detail that makes our firm shine. He is a proud graduate of the Washington State University College of Architecture.

Alongside fellow architects, draftsmen, and office administration, James Guerrero Architects also works closely with a tight group of local consultants including structural, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineers, landscapers, and various independent contractors. We are deeply invested in both the longevity and the viability our community, and we know that every project we undertake directly contributes to our neighborhood, city, county, and region. We strive to be innovative in our design so that we can enhance a project’s profitability and functionality alongside keeping true to our commitment to aesthetic creativity and environmental responsibility.
