Permits

PERMITS

Here at JGA, we can get your project through the permitting phase no matter what phase your project is in when we join in.  Below is a list of permits that we specialize in:

  • Pre-Application Conference:  This is a preliminary meeting for commercial projects in which we show all of the department heads from your local jurisdiction our schematic design for your project.  By doing this, it helps us to identify and flush out issues early on in the process so that there are no surprises in the later stages.  These conferences are intended to save you time and money.

  • Conditional Use Permit:  Some building types are not allowed to be built outright in certain zoning areas.  A Conditional Use Permit is a zoning exception that allows the property owner to develop under certain conditions determined by a Hearings Examiner.

  • Design Review:  Certain districts within a city may require a design review before going into the Building Permit phase.  City Planners are particular about how a building may look in a historical area or a specific planning area.  We will work with you and your local jurisdiction to develop a design that suits everyone.

  • Building Permits: We prepare and submit the documents needed to get you a building permit for all of our projects.  Also, we stay in touch with code officials along the way to help expedite the process.
