This project was neither a remodel nor a custom home, but rather, a replica of this owner's previous home. The owner had sold the blue Tudor-cottage derivative to a developer on the sole condition that they would have an exact duplicate of the house built for them on another lot. We were contracted to design this home, which was instructed to be precise down to the inch. Besides some slight changes in wall width and ceiling height to keep everything up to modern codes, this old, sweet home was a perfect mirror of that from before. Once all the furniture and collections were in, it was nearly impossible to tell the difference.
