In an innovative effort to eliminate vehicular travel on campus, Clover Park Technical College repaved its previously dreary inner-campus road with a light and inviting brick path. Structural supports were placed under the grass, allowing emergency vehicles to drive across the area without the need for the standard 24-foot wide access surface. The lush, inviting space is filled with five circular gathering places for students to visit, study, or take a much-needed break. We designed the walkway with students' needs in mind, to enhance their college experience and give the campus a whole, connected feel.
